With normal contact with the reins and as soon as the rider or the horse relaxes, the bit becomes flexible again and can be used like a regular snaffle bit. Thanks to the effect of the Easy Control bit, horses often learn to hold back on their own as soon as the bar effect kicks in. Therefore, Easy Control bits should be used for training purposes for short periods, with regular checks to see if the desired learning effect has been achieved.

The 2.5 Ring Swivel Easy Control offers various rein attachment options that allow for individual pressure distribution and different effects on the horse's poll and mouth. Compared to a standard 2.5 ring bit, this variant acts more directly due to the third branch where the mouthpiece is attached. The double-jointed mouthpiece distributes pressure evenly over the tongue and bars.
