The 2in1 bits from Stübben SteelTEC offer two levels of action in one bit. This is made possible by two differently processed sides, a rounded side and a more angular side for more punctual pressure. The 2in1 bits therefore offer a flexible solution for different training requirements.
A simple sign helps to keep track: If a + can be seen on the outside left of the bit on the mounting side, the more effective side is fitted. If this sign is missing, the softer side is fitted.
The butterfly bit 2in1 offers 4 different attachment options that allow individual pressure distribution and different effects on the horse's neck and mouth. The double-broken mouthpiece distributes the pressure evenly over the tongue and bars.
Mouthpiece:
- Consisting of stainless steel and SWEET copper centerpiece
- Stainless steel is robust, tasteless and odorless
- Better acceptance: The sweet-tasting copper is particularly well accepted by horses and encourages them to buy.
-
90% copper, 7% iron and aluminum, nickel-free and particularly robust
For which horses is this bit particularly suitable?
- for horses that frequently pull upwards
- for horses that become particularly strong before the jump
-
for horses that become partially uncontrolled

These approvals are the best information we have at this time, but correctness standards are ever evolving. Competitors are reminded that they are responsible for the correctness of their tack. If a rider is unsure of the correctness of any tack, it is the rider’s responsibility to confirm their equipment with the steward or technical delegate.
